Lot 355: 1973 Alfa Romeo 1300 GT Junior

Auto Moto D'Epoca, Coys (19 November 2005)

Alfa Romeo, Italy's oldest sporting marque, has been building cars since 1910. They produced some of the greatest machinery ever to be seen pre-war, such as the beautiful 1750 Zagato roadsters, the magnificent Monzas and the mighty P3 racing cars. With the advent of the 1950s Alfa Romeo was forced to rationalise its production in order to survive financially. Nonetheless the firm still maintained a strong sporting tendency, and a model was always available to satisfy the whims of Alfa's affluent young customers; such a car was the Giulia Spider. This fine example is presented in excellent condition, having been well maintained throughout its life by official Alfa Romeo agents. Described by the vendor as good in every respect, the car is finished in Prugna with a black interior.
