Lot 203A: 1986 BMW 635 CSi

Sports, Touring, Historic Road and Racing Cars, Coys (30 April 2006)

The 635 CSi was the flagship of the BMW range from its introduction in the late 1970's until being superceded by the M6 variant in the mid 1980's. A handsome pillar less coupe powered by BMW's glorious six cylinder engine, it offered effortless performance combine with exceptional build quality and none of the temperament associated with its Latin rivals. In rare manual form the 635 CSi could sprint from standstill to 60mph in 7.1 seconds and reach 142mph, making it a grand tourer par excellence. This 1986 example is finished in red with a black leather interior and is described by the vendor to be in very good condition. The car benefits from a full service history, including 11 BMW main dealer stamps. The car is fitted with sports seats and upgraded factory BMW Z3 alloy wheels. The car comes complete with an original service book and hand book, contained within a leather folder. A nice period touch is the original sales brochure and price list that is also supplied with the car. Complemented with a V5 document, 12 old MoT's as well as a current MoT valid until March next year, this 635 CSi represents an excellent opportunity to buy into a Munich legend.
