Lot : BMW 635 CSi A

Vintage, Classic & Collectors Motor Vehicles, BCA (22 April 2008)

The 6-Series BMW Coupés first appeared in 1976 and replaced the previous style, which had been around since the mid-1960s. Apart from the crisper and more up to date shape, the new model was to benefit from revised chassis engineering with the specification now including all-round disc brakes. An elegant well-balanced motor car, the 6-Series Coupé was also extremely competent and enjoyed a production run lasting until 1989. Over the last few years these cars have increased considerably in popularity, being seen as a desirable latter-day classic offering, as they do, an excellent combination of style, luxury and performance. Smartly finished in red with black trim, this particular 635 CSi A was manufactured during 1985. Reported to be 'a nice example' in all respects, it is offered for sale with extensive service history, a V5 document and an MOT certificate valid until 10th June 2008.
