Lot 104: Mercedes-Benz 300SE Saloon

Jaguar Heritage + Classic & Collectors Motor Cars, Barons (29 April 2008)

Since its launch, back in the 1960's, the S Class Mercedes set the standard, by which all other prestige motor cars would be measured for the next 40 years. When captains of industry, Arab Royalty and Heads of State choose a single model of car, it says a great deal about that car and has extraordinary influence over its place in the market. Offered here is a 3.0 version of the 126 "S Class" of 1989 vintage, which is said to have been owned by the same family from new. The car has been passed from Father-in-Law to Mother-in-Law and finally to vendor. Finished in Graphite metallic with beige leather, the car is offered with service history, a large number of previous MoT certificates and a warranted 115,000 miles. Said to have seen little use in recent times and to have been dry stored for the last 6 months, the car is equipped with climate control, factory sunroof, ABS brakes, flat-face alloys and the usual power options associated with the model
