The Silver Shadow was the first Rolls-Royce to be built using unitary construction and was the most successful model ever built. Launched in 1965, the model benefited from the sixties pop explosion and the growth of the nouvue riche from the worlds of sport and music. Firmly aimed at the owner driver, the Silver Shadow was the perfect addition to a pop stars stable of cars. With America dictating safety matters in the motoring world, the Silver Shadow was updated in 1976 with impact bumpers and a number of other changes. The use of rack and pinion steering was a first for Rolls-Royce and the Shadow II was the first car to offer split-level air conditioning. The example offered here has covered just 63000 miles from new and is offered complete with a comprehensive service history comprising of a service booklet with 14 service stamps and a hand written log detailing the service history. Finished in Nutmeg over Willow Gold with beige hide, the car is described as being in excellent, all round condition.
