Lot 036: Austin Mini City E

Classic Car, Motorcycle & Automobilia, Brightwells Auctioneers and Valuers (24 June 2009)

This Mini City E was won in a raffle to mark the opening of the Merry Hill Centre, Dudley, in 1989. Stored under blankets in a heated garage ever since, it has covered just 3,446 miles from new. Benefitting from servo-assisted disc brakes, it is said to be in superb condition throughout and to drive perfectly. It comes with its original owner's handbook and Evans Halshaw document folder plus 7 old MOTs back to 1992 to verify the mileage. Not only does it look like new, pop your head inside and you will note that it also smells like new! In this 50th anniversary year of the model, this is one for the serious Mini collector.
