ThisMorris Minor has black coachwork with a redleather interior and a fascinating history. It hashad one family ownership and has been kept in thesame garage every night except on two occasionswhen it went on holiday to Brighton for a week and for the opening of Coventry Cathedral in1962. Purchased by Mr AW Hayne, the proprietorof Townsend Garage, Tintinhull, Somerset used itas his every day car until his death in 1970. It thenpassed onto his wife who used it until 1974 andfinally their daughter who continued to use it until1977 when it went into its garage. This originalMorris has covered over 100,000 miles and hasn'tbeen restored, only receiving maintenance asnecessary. In 2010 the car was recommissionedfor its current MOT by the family. The history filecontains the original warranty, eight old MOTsand sundry invoices.
