Overview

Blake was a manufacturer of engines of use in other cars, including Pritchett & Gold, and also in light locomotives and launches. In 1900 he built a vis-a-vis with 7hp 4-cylinder horizontal engine, and the following year a rear entrance tonneau with two 4hp 2-cylinder engines under a long bonnet, the top of which was almost entirely covered by the radiator. He moved to Kew in September 1901, and possibly built no cars there, though engine manufacture continued at least until 1904.
