Roger Darmont started a small factory in Courbevoie, France. He built the first English Morgan here under licence. The first three-wheelers were sold in 1924. The air-cooled V-2 engine was placed in front of the front axle. A water-cooled twin was also available, and even a compressor engine, intended for racing. In 1936, Darmont introduced his first four-wheeler, but this sports car was not really suited to everyday use. The linen hood and side windows were missing from this model.
