Desande was a neo classic car designed by Danny G Vandesande, a Belgian national, living in Hulst, in Zeeuws Vlaanderen (Zeeland Flanders) in the Netherlands, close to Belgium.
The cars were built during the early 1980's in England, because only there the skills to build a classic car conforming to modern standards were (sufficiently) available. Though the car looked 'old fashioned', the technology was consistent with its age. It had a Chrysler V8 engine, an automatic gearbox from GM, and the upholstery was leather.
Only 250 were to be built.
