Overview

D.L. Motor Manufacturing announced in December 1913, the D.L.  It was an attractive small car with vee-radiator initially offered in 8 and 10/12hp models, although mostly made only with the larger engine.  This had a capacity of 1306cc and was rated at 11.9hp.  Three body styles were listed; 2-seater, 4-seater and delivery van.  There is some evidence that a few were made after the war, although from 1919 the D.L.'s maker, William Guthrie, was busy with the Glasgow 3-wheeled agricultural tractor.
