This was an unusual car with a 16hp horizontal 4-cylinder engine mounted under the floorboards. The complex engine was described by The Motor Car Journal as 'having connecting rods outside the cylinder and fixed to a shaft which passes transversely through the cylinder and piston, conveying the power to the crankshaft. At the point where the shaft goes through the cylinder, the latter is slotted, the slots being equal in length to that of the stroke'. The body, was a 4-seater tonneau called the Duchess. It had a 2-speed gearbox and final drive was by chain.
