1988 - 1990
With smart, compact, upright styling, the Max Roadster was a promising steel-bodied 2-seater cabriolet with speedster-style rear head fairings and mechanicals derived from the Peugeot 205. With an 83bhp 1360cc engine fitted, a top speed of 118mph (190km/h) and 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 9.0 seconds was claimed. Planned production did not apparently begin.
