The Falcon and Fairmont models had been the mainstay products of Ford Australia for many years. From 1967 to 1978 a few of these large saloon and coupe models were imported to the UK. Most used a 4.9 litre V8 and from 1973 an even bigger 5.7 litre V8 was available which produced around 300bhp.
The Falcon/Fairmont range came in a variety of shapes and sizes. Although most were saloons a few estates and two door coupes were also imported.
