Overview
Produced: 1955-1961, 33131 produced.
Types: Estate,2 doors,4 seats

Attractive estate versions of the 100E arrived in 1955, an Anglia based version called the Escort and a Prefect based Squire. Both cars used a steel body that was also used for the 100E Thames van. Mechanically the two estates were identical to their respective saloon counterparts, apart from firmer rear springs.

The Escort had a plainer exterior than the Squire and used the same interior trim as the Anglia saloon. The rear seat folded down to provide a flat loading area and the rear side windows slid open if required. These attractive estate cars are now quite a rarity, only 33,000 were actually built.
