Built to celebrate the anniversary of the XK 120's record- breaking 132.6 mph run on a deserted strech of motorway near Jabbeke. Driven by Ron 'Soapy' Sutton ( Reg No HKV 500) sped along the section of motorway at 126.594 mph. This was with hood & windscreen in place. Minutes later with hood removed & an aero screen fitted 'Soapy' raised the speed to 132.6 mph, a record for a standard production car.
