Triumph GT6 Mk II

Overview
Produced: 1968-1970, 12066 produced.
Types: Coupe,2 doors, 2+2 seats

The GT6 had been heavily criticised for its tendency to "tuck" its rear wheels inwards during hard cornering, Triumph cured this with the Mk II GT6 in 1968. The Mk II also carried over the new styling changes introduced on the Spitfire Mk III including the bone-in-the-teeth front bumper / grille arrangement.

The GT6 Mk II 2 litre engine now developed 104bhp and featured new wheel trims to give it a more aggressive appearance. Other improvements could be found inside the car, including more protective crash padding and better ventilation.
