The larger and faster 10hp Model 'C' never sold in such great numbers as the Model 'Y' although there was a very attractive factory produced tourer. In 1935 the styling was enhanced with some small modifications and the model was designated the 'CX'.

About 19000 'C's and 33000 'CX's were produced at Dagenham, of which approximately 3500 were bodied in Australia. About 250 have survived.

Note: about 60000 Model 'C'-based 'Eifel's were manufactured at the Ford Köln plant in Germany between 1935 and 1939.
