One thing that the original E-type Coupe had always lacked was useable interior space, therefore in
To accommodate the extra seats the E-types body had to be stretched by a further 9 inches. In reality these extra seat were only suitable for small children, although they could also be folded down to increase luggage space. Today these 2+2 E-types are considered to be less desirable than the earlier, more glamorous 2 seater cars.
