In 1955 Daimler introduced a replacement for the Regency model range, the new car was called the Daimler One-O-Four. This unusually named car introduced a new four door body style which would later influence both the Majestic and Majestic Major models.
The One-O-Four featured a 137bhp six cylinder engine of 3468cc, along with servo assisted hydraulic brakes. From 1956 an optional automatic gearbox became available, other options included a curious "Lady's Model" which came with a number of unusual fitted accessories. Production of the One-O-Four ended in 1959 with the introduction of the new Dainler Major.
